Say NO to Middle School Boundary Change
Keep Our Children Close to US

Dear East Dublin Parents and Neighbors:
Dublin Unified School District is considering changing middle school boundary from Fallon to Wells Middle School. We should ALL SAY NO TO ANY form of Boundary Change  ( by street or construction date)!

  • Impacts on You and Your Family:
Longer Commute and Worsened Safety along I-580/Dublin Blvd
Commute time will be more than DOUBLED for our children and it defeats the purpose of maintaining neighborhood schools. Traffic congestion and safety issues raised by the change will affect all families and neighborhood working class’ daily life.
  • Loss of a Potential New Middle School
With these great inconvenience and potential hazard to students that DUSD imposes onto our kids, boundary change will just alleviate the pressure off from the district to build a new middle school.
  • Changing School Boundary Won’t Fix the “Overflow” in East Dublin
We need a PERMANENT solution instead of a temporary fix! We should not let them kick us around and kick the can further down the road. We are not the root cause of the overflow at Fallon. We should not be the victims of poor city planning!
  • Drop of Your Property Value
No potential buyers/renters want to live in a place where their kids have to travel across the city to attend a school. All properties in East Dublin could see a significant decrease in value!

What We Demand:

  • Firmly Object ANY form of middle school boundary change
  • Grade Changes to K-6 for some or all elementary schools
  • Grade Changes to K-8 for Amador or Jordan Ranch
  • A second Middle School in East Dublin – the ultimate solution to the overflow at Fallon

PLEASE ATTEND the Town Hall meeting on Monday June 1st at 6:30 pm. at Fallon Middle School in the Multi-Purpose Room — This is our LAST CHANCE to say NO to any school boundary change! Make your voices heard!
